To thoroughly showcase what Berlin has to offer in a Weekly Photoset is impossible. These photos reveal only a small facet of this fascinating city. On our first day in Berlin we joined a four hour walking tour of Berlin which covered the historical side of Berlin, although four hours sounds extremely long and tiring, it wasn't in the slightest. Berlin is full of rich history and culture, it was so fascinating learning and visiting places that dealt with the likes of World War 2 and the Cold War. The most noticeable aspect in Berlin was the juxtaposition between new and old; old buildings reconstructed with new materials, and new buildings built in the past twenty years or so with rich history surrounding it. The Berlin Wall is also a must for those planning to visit Berlin, especially the East Side Gallery. On our last day, we went to Cafe Einstein for breakfast, it was by far the best breakfast I've had in awhile. Everything was fresh and delicious, and wonderfully European.
